Lead
technique (cimentation), is a very old tehnic, in
the way is practicing in our days having its roots
in XIII and XIV centuries;

The
most important differences to Tiffany technique is
that the fixing of stained glass is in lead, H profile, not
in soldering foil;

This
technic is supposing a much more rigorous cutting of the paper copies and glasses, but
the advantage is that it do not require each glass
to be polish.

The
size`of the lead depends on the thickness of the glass
and the
stained glass area. H lead profile is made using a
special machine;

A
good workpiece has to resist more then 50 years,
after that, even it keep the plain shape, the lead
insertions has to be replaced; |
